A good club show despite the weather. Pictures to follow…
Crufts Discover Dogs 2018
Discover dogs is a fantastic way to get to see dog breeds up close. With a corner spot, and Barkus’ roll in the Pastoral breeds judging, the Komondor stand was sure to be extremely busy. The Komondor is a specialist breed, and most people would be ill suited to own a Kom, but the best way to ensure the breed continues is to make sure that people know about its existence. Those few people who are suited to the breed then at least have the option.

Club show critique
THE KOMONDOR CLUBOF GEAT BRITAIN
SUNDAY 15TH OCTOBER 2017.
Thank you to the committee and Members for giving me the opportunity to judge the Komondor club show. This is a great honour for myself and it was quiet an emotional day as my parent was one of the first people to bring the breed to the UK,
The breed in my opinion is in a good state with heads very good with the right length of neck. Eyes getting a bit lighter but not too extreme to worry about, bites were good and overall shape was good, temperaments on a whole was of a good nature, Handling was not the best but knowing a Komondor they are not the easiest to handle, loved my winners,
So just thank you to all the exhibitors for their sporting nature in clapping all the winners and making the show such a relaxed atmosphere
